Welcome To My Website

Hi! My name is Samantha Lynn Gilley, I am 18 years old and I live in Flintstone, Georgia.

I was diagnosed with cancer in my eyes when I was only 6 weeks old and I eventually lost my sight as a result. Had it not been for my family, friends, St. Jude's hospital and, of course, God; I wouldn't be here today.  I have had cancer a total of 9 times in my life, between the ages of 6 weeks and 7 years old. 

Because of everything that St. Jude has done for me, my dream is to help the doctors, nurses and researchers be able to help other patients. I hope to one day work as a doctor at St. Jude, but for now, raising money is all I can do. 

In the fall of 2007, I put together a tandem bicycle ride from Chattanooga to Memphis, that ended at St. Jude's hospital. With the help of you and many others, I was able to raise almost $50,000 for the hospital.
